The Evansville Dance Theatre (EDT) is a non-profit classical ballet and dance repertory company located for in Evansville, Indiana. EDT is the only pre-professional ballet company and dance school in the Tri-State area, offering instruction and performance experience with nationally and internationally recognized dancers and teachers.
EDT's mission is to:
• Develop each student's individual dance potential
• Produce and present high-quality professional dance performances
• Increase public awareness and appreciation of classical dance as a performing art
• Provide a wide range of dance classes for both pre-professional and recreational students of all ages
• Offer high quality educational outreach programs
• Serves as a resource to area communities, their constituencies and to the dance community at large
• Work with area community organizations to enhance the quality of life |
